Behind the scenes, Beacon runs on enterprise-grade third-party AI providers through commercial API services, not public, consumer-facing AI products — meaning your data is processed under strict contractual terms rather than through general-purpose public interfaces. Yes. AI features in Nova, including Beacon, respect your organization's existing roles and permissions. Beacon can only access data that the logged-in user is already permitted to see, based on the modules and permissions your organization has configured.
